Take the ladder up and, if you walk to the right, you can find a foot soldier holding a torch on the ledge below next to a ladder. Note there are a couple of paths to choose & items that can be collected ahead. Beware of the soldier on this ledge and take him out carefully. Jump onto this root and follow it high enough till you can safely jump towards one of the tower's ledges to the left. On the way, you can find a Teardrop Scarab on a dead tree root protruding out of the ground, kill it to get a Somber Smithing Stone be mindful that this scrab will explode on kill, so dodge out of the way after. To get into the tower, summon Torrent and ride off towards the tower in the northeast from the Dragonbarrow west Site of Grace.
